  • For dancers ages 5–6 (Minis), 7–8 (Mighty Minis), and all new team members, we highly recommend starting on our Premier Team. Premier is the perfect introduction to competitive dance, giving dancers the opportunity to build strong technical foundations, gain performance experience, and adjust to the commitment and expectations of team in a supportive environment before advancing to higher levels. Premier Team Premier Team members are required to enroll in their assigned technique classes held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursday's, totaling 2 hours per week. These classes are essential for building strong technical foundations, improving performance quality, and preparing dancers for success throughout the competitive season. Premier dancers compete at the intermediate/novice level and are required to participate in at least 2 group dances, attend 2 regional competitions, 1 convention, and travel to Nationals Finals each year. Pre-Elite Team Pre-Elite is designed for dancers ready to take the next step toward our highest level of competition. Team members are required to train 4 hours of technique each week, including their assigned Pre-Elite and Elite technique classes, to continue strengthening technique, versatility, and performance quality. Pre-Elite dancers compete at the intermediate and advanced levels and commit to participate in at least 2 group dances, 5 competitions, 2 conventions, and Nationals Finals each season. Elite Team Our Elite Team is designed for dancers ready to compete at the highest level and fully commit to their growth. Team members are required to train 4 hours of technique each week through their assigned classes to maintain and elevate their technical ability. Elite dancers compete at the advanced level all season and commit to participate in at least 2 group dances, 5 competitions, 2 conventions, and Nationals Finals each year. This team is for dancers who are serious about pushing themselves and taking their dance training to the next level
  • Each dance will have a $45 choreography fee. Fees are due no later Aug. 8th. Please note that your maximum requested number of group dances is not guaranteed. Group placements are carefully made based on team needs, choreography balance, and overall season planning. Once group placements have been sent out, any dropped or added group will result in a $50 change fee per adjustment. Please note that dropping one group and adding another counts as two separate changes. Exceptions to this policy include: If your requested maximum is exceeded (for example, you requested 3 groups and are placed in 4), studio staff will determine which routine will be removed at no charge. If you are placed in a dance style you specifically marked as “No,” adjustments will be made at no charge. We encourage families to carefully review commitments before finalizing selections to help keep placements organized and the season running smoothly
  • If you’re ready to grow as a dancer and take your training to the next level, our Premier Team is the perfect place to start. Premier dancers compete at the intermediate level all season, building strong technique, confidence, and performance skills in a supportive but challenging environment. Team members are required to take a minimum of 2 hours of technique classes each week, participate in at least 2 group dances, attend 2 regional competitions, 1 convention, and travel to Nationals Finals each year as part of their team commitment
  • If you’re ready to level up and push toward our highest competitive level, our Pre-Elite Team is designed for dancers committed to growth and advancement. Pre-Elite dancers compete at both the intermediate and advanced levels throughout the season, gaining strong competitive experience while preparing for the Elite Team. Team members are required to take 4 hours of technique classes each week, commit to 5 competitions and 2 conventions throughout the year, and travel to Nationals Finals as part of their team commitment. Pre-elite team members compete intermediate for specialties, but a mix of advanced and intermediate for group dances. If a dancer is not selected for the Pre-Elite Team or is not yet eligible, families will receive an email with an explanation of placement and personalized feedback on areas for growth, improvement, and their team placement for the year. We encourage dancers to continue training and audition again the following season as they progress
  • If you’re ready to compete at the highest level and fully commit to your growth as a dancer, our Elite Team is for you. Elite dancers compete at the advanced level all season, training and performing alongside some of our most dedicated athletes. Team members are required to take 4 hours of technique classes each week, commit to 5 competitions and 2 conventions throughout the year, and travel to Nationals Finals as part of their team commitment. This team is designed for dancers who are ready to push themselves and take their dance journey to the next level. Elite team members compete advanced only for all specialties and groups. If a dancer is not selected for the Elite Team, families will receive an email with an explanation of placement and personalized feedback on areas for growth, improvement, and their team placement for the year. We encourage dancers to continue training and audition again the following season as they progress
  • Please rank the styles of group dances you are most interested in, in order of preference. If you do not have a preference for a style, you may leave it blank. If there is a style you are not interested in being placed in, please clearly write “NO” next to that style. We will make every effort to consider your preferences when creating group placements; however, final placements are based on many factors including team balance, age, level, choreography needs, and overall season planning. Please note: submitting your preferences does not exempt you from the $50 add/drop change fee once placements have been finalized and sent out. Be sure to review your selections carefully before submitting. Example (requesting 4 group dances total): Jazz 2 - 4, Musical Theater NO, Lyrical/Contemporary 1, Tap NO, Hip Hop NO, Acro 3
  • Specialty routines are a great opportunity for dancers looking for additional performance experience and more individualized growth throughout the season. Specialty numbers typically cost around $500 for the year, and a signed Specialty Contract must be completed and turned into the office before participation is confirmed. To be eligible for a specialty routine, dancers must be enrolled in a minimum of 2 group dances. To audition for a specialty, dancers must prepare a NEW 30–45 second routine in the style of their choice to perform on audition day. This routine should showcase their strengths, technique, and performance ability. Please indicate below if you are auditioning for a solo, duet, or trio. If auditioning for a duet or trio, please list your preferred partner(s). You may also include your preferred style of dance and instructor. While we will do our best to consider all requests, teacher, style, and partner preferences are not guaranteed and final placements will be based on availability, choreography needs, and overall team planning.
